Polo, I've found the 3-2 w/ a + defense has been fairly consistant for me (as long as I have a speed advantage, which I try to build around)
I used to make it a habit of keeping the adjust at halftime bar to "always". At chicago, I found my biggest problems came when I went from a +2,+1, or 0 down to a 0, -1, or -2 defense. that is when I tended to get torched from the perimeter (which perhaps makes sense, but was certainly not the norm in past seasons) The thing that has made me learly about switching to man2man next year, besides my roster makeup is that I found if I went +1 in the 3-2 and wasn't severly outmanned from a speed perspective, that defense was pretty consistant in the 2nd half of wooden this year. I'm starting to do the same in Crum w/ my 2 zone squads. I'll still mixed in the 2-3 or a 3-2 w/ a - tilt if the opposing offense called for it, but my defense definently became more consistant as the season went along despite not practicing any time at zone.
Does that experience jive with you or anyone else?
Also, anyone have opinions on the doubling aspect after the recent changes? I've found myself doubling much less often.
