#11 Transylvania

#16 Hanover

With the #3 ranked recruiting class, the conference is set to shine for the next few seasons.

Heartland is down a bit, overall, due to a huge graduating class. But we still have 4 teams in the top 15 and Westminster getting votes.

There've been some impressive victories. Unranked Franklin has wins over #13 Baldwin-Wallace and traditional powers Chowan and Wheaton.

Transylvania has defeated #9 Medger Evers, #30 Mary Hardin-Baylor and Wheaton.

Westminster won over #36 Emerson.

Hanover handled #20 McMurry.

Transylvania defeated #1 SUNY Oneonta 95-84.

Rumor is that Mary Hardin-Baylor will be applying for membership in the Heartland Conference. In addition to Bluffton, they've already lost to Transy 71-57 and Westminster 65-49.

i want some of whatever is in the water at transy. i have never, ever seen anything remotely like this in HD or in real life.

I'm torn............

part of me wants to give ol al his props and leave it at that.

the other part of me wants to pissandmoan and bellyache about this rediculous shooting percentage.

the part that was for giving al his props was winning out until last night. then we played them with our 60ish avg defenders and promptly allowed them to shoot like 73% or something fromt he field. the "other" side has gained a slight advantage now... as you may have guessed.

and, i warn you, anyone, do not try to anylyze the faults of my team and analyze our suddenly horrendous D. I'm not looking for answers, just a place to let out all the badgunky thats bottling up.

I have to shoot that well, kelby and dave. My starters DEF average is 55 but I'm giving up 48% shooting.
My SOS is 4 so I'm hoping that most of the problem is stiff competition.
I only hit 48% vs. Baldwin-Wallace last night, though.

Heartland is ranked #4, lower than we're used to, but still very good! Leading are Commonwealth Conference, Upstate, and Old Dominion
#2 Bluffton lost their 1st game, 67-65, at Mary Hardin-Baylor. #25 Hanover bounced back by destroying Delaware Valley 69-42. #10 Transylvania won at #16 Baldwin-Wallace 67-56.
