I'd actually be on board with this trade if I were a Jets fan. You're trading a cornerback coming off a knee injury ("experts" say that's the toughest position to play after an ACL tear) who the Jets likely won't be able to afford after this year if they want to fill other holes on the team. If you decide to keep him and sign him to a long-term deal, he might be Terrell Thomas (Giants pro bowler) and tear the same ACL in training camp. At best, he probably isn't exactly the same. You got a first round pick for him from the only team that could afford to have him on their team. I say good deal.
