True, but at least they got something of value out of the Thornton trade, Wideman hasn't shown me too much in relation to the value of Boyes

Brad Stuart - 48 pts in 103 games before he as a free agent.
Marco Sturm - 101 pts in 145 games
Wayne Primeau - 29 pts in 101 games before being traded for the 2 players below.
Chuck Kobasew - 11 points in 28 games
Andrew Ference - 6 points in 39 games.
Combined for 195 points in 416 games.
Meanwhile, there's Joe Thornton:
230 pts in 161 games(and 20 points in 22 playoff games) as well as an Art Ross Trophy and a Hart Trophy.
Please explain to me how the Boyes trade is/was worse.
