PACKERS: Datone Jones is latest DL bust drafted Topic

Initially sounds like McCarthy is willing to rest the injured. Eh, losing to the Cowboys will take the pressure off of being the number 1 team in the NFC right? Who wants 2 January games at Lambeau anyways.

Did a Favre die or something, that we don't know about?

Anyone else remember the last time two 10-1 teams played? Good. Now tell me who went to the Super Bowl after the rematch. Falcons and Vick (ruff ruff) proved Lambeau is beatable, and last time I checked Romo still hasn't won a playoff game. Both teams will be motivated. Mentor vs student. By the way, it's BRENT Favre. Dallas 34, Green Bay 28

Favre wants you to think it's all because of that Bowflex commercial...but we know he's on the stuff.

Green Bay - Former Packers kicker Dave Rayner, who lost a training camp battle to rookie Mason Crosby, color="#0202bdwas" released Tuesday by the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs replaced Rayner with 43-year-old John Carney.

Rayner made 15 of 22 field-goal attempts this season after joining the Chiefs for the season’s second game. He missed two in a three-point loss to Indianapolis two weeks ago and a 33-yarder in Sunday’s 20-17 loss to Oakland.

Edwards passed on having Rayner try a potential game-tying 41-yard field goal in the final minutes.

Looks like the Pack made the right choice.

You guys as ****** as I am that the game won't be available except to the people with NFL Network?

Get NFL Network.

I have NFL network.
I'm still not convinced that Crosby was the right choice. Not sure what happened to Rayner in KC but I certainly don't feel confident when Crosby lines up to kick one.

And, really, anyone in the Green Bay or Milwaukee area can see the game on a local network affiliate (as both cities are designated "home markets" for the Packers).
My brother, who lives in Madison, cannot see the game as he lives in an apartment building that does not allow satellite and the local cable franchise has no deal with NFL network. So he'll have to drive to my house if he wants to watch.

Dish Network is a beautiful thing. Big 10 AND NFL Network.

GO PACKERS... channel 12 in milwaukee if anyone was wondering

Sounds like Nick Collins will start tonight; KGB a game-time decision. Most expect Woodson to play.
11/29/2007 9:10 AM
Sounds good. If Woodson plays I give em a 50/50 chance, if he doesn't I think 30/70.

Prediction: Cowboys 28 Packers 24 if Woodson plays, otherwise 34-24.

Did that pass to T.O. get stripped by Al Harris? The guys on the radio sounded like they were holding their tongues a bit because they said it looked like Al Harris got the ball away.

At the beginning of the game? It looked like it. Owens had possession for a split second, then Harris stripped it and was in bounds with possession of the ball, but I guess McCarthy wasn't able to challenge that aspect of the play.
