While early forecasts predicted a high of seven for Green Bay on Sunday, this morning the National Weather Service has increased their prediction to 12 degrees.
Still, it will be dark by the time the game starts... not likely to be at the high then.

Well, that was a pretty horrible way to end the season.
It would have been nice if the Pack had done something different in coverage on Plaxico but the offense certainly didn't contribute much to the cause in the second half.

Pretty crappy end to the season. The team played poorly in most aspects of the game. Poor tackling, poor coverage, poor running game...and lots of untimely penalties. About the only thing they did well was protect the quarterback, but Favre didn't seem to have much magic tonight.
Congrats to the Giants...pretty much all of America will be rooting them on Super Bowl Sunday.

Packers' salary cap guru Andrew Brandt, passed over for the team presidency (which eventually went to Mark Murphy), has resigned from the team immediately to "pursue other interests".

Should be interesting to see if TT strays at all from his approach after the success the team had. I'm sure Brett would like to see some of that extra 20 mil in cap room spent.

It came out this week that Brandt's contract was not renewed by Ted Thompson, who apparently did not feel that Brandt fit his definition of "team player." Brandt had been described as arrogant by some observers and, though his contract didn't expire until March 31, Thompson wanted to replace him before the free agency period begain. Thompson himself would have no comment on these reports, saying he would stick to the original statement (which indicated Brandt had voluntarily decided to leave despite not having another job lined up).

Packers.com makes a mistake (or is it?): for a few minutes this was shown on the home page. The Packers claim it was a mistake and "there's nothing to it."
