No, his opponent has had his intentional foul settings at last 6 minutes, down 1 for the whole season. While this game had tedicilous fourth quarter stats, it's actually far from the most tedicilous of the games his opponent has played. In one game I believe the other team shot over 100 free throws

I was giving him ****. I've been in 4 leagues with him, and he has had 4 exact copies of whichever team is on top of the top 25 at the time. Twice it's been a direct copy of my team, this one is ash's team and I forget who the other one was from.

I remember once joining a league and, lo & behold, there's a copy of one of my previous squads in my division.  He won 15 less games than I did with it, which still meant like 59 wins, but yeah.

Haha, it was actually pretty funny, I had won 72 games or so with a team and decided to run it back without tweaking anything. I usually tweak at least something on my roster, but I think this was my high win total at the time so I ran it back down to the last player. The league is starting and I'm checking my first opponents team when I realize it is the exact same team. We had the exact same team down to the last player. I beat him 7-1 during the season and ended up winning 17 more games than him (it was 68 and 51 I believe, but I am not sure).

I'm rerunning the exact team that recent guy copied because I wanted to see how good it'd do without the Rodman rookie I was fortunate enough to get.  Looks like it won't, but it'll still be nice.

and then only 10 ftas for my opp the next game - that's a sensible way to run the sim - you get somewhere between 10 and 53 trips to the line because whatever (it certainly doesn't have to do with stats drafted by either squad)

How about this: in the league I just finished, a Newbie ran an 11/12 copy of your 177% ast team--according to his profile, it was his very FIRST team! Won 67 games, cruised through the playoffs 12-1, and in completing a sweep in the finals against a multi-championship Hall of Famer (who took a traditional route in building his team rather than the State Farm approach) scored 173 points and won by 64. Cheesh,what is the point of playing if you're copying teams your first time out?

This has really gotten pathetic. The State Farm assist thing has destroyed any last trace of a resemblance to actual basketball. If I wanted to solve statistics problems competitively I could just go back to school and join the math club.

To be fair, that team is pretty much the cream of the crop.  But yeah, they could definitely do something to lessen the absurdity of the strategy, even though it is very beatable.
