Cool - No one makes the Sweet 16 and then flames out better than Wisconsin, Parkside.

You making a move up al?
2/20/2009 5:24 PM
Al, do you have a set criteria for determining these rankings? I'm just curious as to how you separate, say, the #50 ranked team from the #55.

I'm just glad Findlay made this list - hopefully we'll be moving higher on it after next season.

Only post-season play is considered. A 29-0 team who loses in the 1st round gets the same # of points as the other losers.

The rankings are usually pretty close. If your Findlay team had won one more game, making the Final Four, you'd be at #25.

go Wayne State!

thanks for doing this for D2 allblack. I missed you tracking this in D3 after moving up to D2. I thought I would be in this somewhere should you do this for D2. #14? Sweet.

I almost called it. LOL Findlay actually DID enter the tournament at 29-0, but they won. They made the Final Four and ended up 33-1.

They almost duplicated RL, where Findlay won the NT, going undefeated

Thanks Al - just give that knife one more twist.

Yeah, I was hoping art could imitate life but Abilene just outplayed us that game. Having only 1 senior on this year's team, I have high hopes for next season.

I was hoping you'd be outplayed two games earlier muredskin but it wasn't meant to be. You had a heck of a team last season though. GL in the future.

Thanks for putting these rankings together alblack. Hopefully I can make a run this season with two first team all-americans returning that will help end two straight seasons finishing 9th in your rankings.

roots, if it's any consolation, our bracket was absolutely loaded but as I remember there were really only 2 teams that scared the living hell out of me - S. Connecticut (who I thankfully didn't have to play) and Lenoir-Rhyne. GL this season - you've got a hell of a team coming back.

Thanks al, it's like 1 stop shopping for my offseason scheduling! :-) Not that I don't end up with most of these teams on there anyway.
4/17/2009 6:37 PM
I lost my 1st team all-american, but I do have the reigning national frosh of the year coming back along w/ 3 really nice players and a deep bench. Hoping to make another run...
