Opposing coaches and their schools North Coast Year 4 :
NORTH
Allegheny Gators -- waltmac (Yost Record 22-19 -- Overall Record 193-227)
Kenyon Lords -- 2guinness (0-0 -- 699-108)
Oberlin Yeomen -- SIM AI
Wabash Little Giants -- jhard70 (0-0 -- 48-31)
Wittenberg Tigers -- mpmershon (22-17 -- 1946-650)
Wooster Fighting Scots -- mcnabbqb5 (19-21 -- 25-28)
SOUTH
Carnegie Mellon Tartans -- tbbcoach (4-9 -- 4-9)
Case Western Reserve Spartans -- SIM AI
Denison Big Red -- rlax10 (0-0 -- 0-0)
Earlham Quakers -- fs9dana (0-0 -- 6-7)
Hiram Terriers -- interception (0-0 -- 6-7)
Ohio Wesleyan Battlin' Bishops -- dublinuf (39-8 -- 3258-750)
Seniority
4 years -- myself, waltman, mcnabbqb5 and mpmershon are all original members of the NCAC, though we lost two this year
2 years -- tbbcoach is the only member that joined us in year 2 that decided to stick around.
1st year -- Joining us this year is brand new coach rlax10 as well as relative newbies fs9dana and interception, who took over the Sim team Hiram. Also coming in this season is jhard70, who has posted some moderate success in his limited time of GD. 2guinness seems pretty good on the surface, yet when you dig deeper, you find that on top of his 27 CCs and nine national titles on this account, on his main account devindupre, he has an additional 1518 wins, 35 CCs and seven National Titles. The good news for the rest of us is that at least he isn't as good a recruiter as chadsteelers... just ask chad.

Every so often I get it in my head to do something creative in the Forums and then screw it up. Well, here's another one of those.

This thread will be dedicated to the history of the Ohio Wesleyan Battlin' Bishops. I intend to keep a long record of my time with OWU (pronounced oh WOO) and that time should last as long as I am playing Gridiron Dynasty.

Some of the features I intend to have are: A triseasonal Newsletter (though there will be only one this year at the close), A recruiting blog of sorts, a conference breakdown each year ala the Thomas More page in Warner, a stats recap, a season recap, a series breakdown for each of my conference teams and some long term stats history.

I think it is cool that I get to get in on the ground floor with this world, so I should be able to keep the entire history. We will see how it goes.

I got into a long-term agreement with this team under the false pretenses that this thread would be updated fairly often.....

I have the stuff all on file.

Opposing coaches and their schools North Coast Year 5 :
NORTH
Allegheny Gators -- waltmac (Yost Record 27-27 -- Overall Record 198-235)
Kenyon Lords -- 2guinness (8-5 -- 777-129)
Oberlin Yeomen -- SIM AI
Wabash Little Giants -- gamekeeper (0-0 -- 0-0)
Wittenberg Tigers -- mpmershon (31-22 -- 2010-674)
Wooster Fighting Scots -- milsy (0-0 -- 16-23)
SOUTH
Carnegie Mellon Tartans -- SIM AI
Case Western Reserve Spartans -- SIM AI
Denison Big Red -- buckijay (0-0 -- 344-559)
Earlham Quakers -- SIM AI
Hiram Terriers -- interception (6-7 -- 20-19)
Ohio Wesleyan Battlin' Bishops -- dublinuf (56-9 -- 3392-782)
Seniority
5 years -- myself, waltmac and mpmershon are all original members of the NCAC, though we lost one more this year
2 years -- 2guinness which is devindupre second account enters its second year of what is sure to be a successful stint at Kenyon, while interception also made it through to a second year
1st year -- All three of our new coaches are brand new to yost, with buckijay having great experience overall, milsy having slight experience and gamekeeper being brand new to the game.
Notes: The SIM situation in the NCAC is getting out of hand, with Case Western and Oberlin entering a second year as SIMs and we have new SIMs Carnegie and Earlham, quite surprisingly considering how well chadsteelers told us he recruited for them.

I reserve the right to crawfish out of this agreement if we go down 0-5. I was under the assumption that we would be able to make the series competitive.....which we haven't. It doesn't help that we can't make it out of the damn first round.
