Braun should hook him up with some recovery "techniques".     He'd be back by the middle of March.

any chance they can do something about his giant cranium before he returns?

Doubtful.

He needs to start wearing his prescription sunglasses so he can see the ball better. Especially at night.

Yovani Gallardo allows four home runs to St. Louis and the Crew wastes a three-run pinch-hit homer by George Kottaras in an 11-5 loss. Gallardo now 1-8 versus the Cards in his career.

Game 2: Greinke looks fantastic and Brewers shut out the Cards 6-0. Corey Hart hits two home runs.

Game 3: Hart homers again, but the rest of the lineup has no chance against Lance Lynn. Cards win 9-3.

Game 4: Brewers actually manufacture a few runs and survive a near-meltdown by the bullpen in the ninth to beat the Cubs 7-5. Brewers end Starlin Castro's streak of 43 straight games reaching base.

Game 5: Narvdog has one bad inning but otherwise keeps the Cubs in check; Brewers once again survive some shaky relief work to win 7-4.

Game 6: Gallardo bounces back from his Opening Day disaster with a brilliant game, and George Kottaras hits a two-run homer to give the Crew a 2-1 win. K-Rod and Ax Man strike out six Cubs over the final two innings to preserve the lead.

Game 7: Zack Greinke gets bombed, the Brewers are completely befuddled by Matt Garza, and the Crew fails to finish off the sweep as Chicago rolls, 8-0.

Games 8-10: Brewers are swept in Atlanta, losing a slugfest in the opener, being shut down in game 2, and getting shelled in the finale.

Game 11-12: Brewers return home and top the Dodgers in exciting fashion, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the ninth on George Kottaras' pinch hit double in the opener, then taking the second game in 10 innings (Nyjer Morgan races home to score on a short fly ball by Ryan Braun).

Game 13: Kermit attends his first game of the season and is "rewarded" with a vintage (bad) Randy Wolf performance as the Dodgers avoid a sweep with a 4-3 victory. Matt Kemp's solo homer provides the margin of victory.

WI - hater of young, black men.   Unless they want to transfer to them and play QB.

SP Chris Narveson has been placed on the DL (retroactive to 4/16) with a torn rotator cuff. Not clear at this point if surgery will be needed.

Kameron Loe to go on bereavement leave this weekend; Mike McClendon and Wily Peralta are being called up. Not sure who will get Narveson's spot in the rotation, but guessing it will be Marco Estrada.

Ryan Braun has been named as a potential witness in the Clemens trial.
