Knew it.

0-4 this season against pitchers making their ML debut.

Eventually the league will run out of such guys.

Right?

Doug Melvin admitted he talked to Cleveland about Mark DeRosa, but since the Brewers have no young pitchers that anybody would want, a deal could not be struck.

Possibilities remain for a deal with Arizona, perhaps to bring Doug Davis back to Milwaukee, but the asking price is high with so few pitchers on the market right now.

Let's give them Johnny Estrada and Claudio Vargas back.

I am 6-2 now. The crowd was getting on Sheffield pretty hard all night, then he goes and hits a 3 run shot in the 9th.

Sheffield is a bum.

Brewers inconsistency at its very finest. Knock around Johan Santana and get dominated by a 5-ERA guy.

There are some reports that the Brewers are close to signing Dominican outfielder Jose Pena, compared by some scouts to Jermaine Dye and Juan Gonzalez.
