Marcum should put one in Puljols back in the 1st inning tomorow so the ump can issue a warning and the Cardinals can't pitch inside.

I assume there are lots of fans that fell off the Yankees, Red Sux and Phillies bandwagon.    WI might get overrun.

nobody that likes baseball and lives outside of WI could possibly enjoy the Brewers

although, on a side note, I would now have to admit that Aaron Rodgers has earned his spot at the elite level of NFL QBs...and with Manning out, I consider that a list of 2 active names

so, you've all got that going for you....

Stolen from that and everyone with a radio show in Milwaukee. It could have changed the game.

Gallardo, with some help from the defense (not to mention his manager, who started Mark F'ing Kotsay in center field), has a disastrous four-run first inning and the Cards take a 2-1 series lead with a 4-3 victory. SERIES OVER. Brewers would need two wins from Marcum/Greinke/Wolf to win this thing and I don't see any way that could happen.

Roenicke illustrates the classic definition of insanity (repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting a different result), putting Shaun Marcum on the mound for Game 6, a must-win game. Shockingly, Marcum gave up a three-run homer to David Freese in the first and put the team in a 4-0 hole. He then exited the game. BRILLIANT MANAGING!!!!!

Narveson gave up more runs than Marcum. What's a manager to do when faced with a superior team?
10/17/2011 12:52 AM
Narveson giving up the 4 runs in the 3rd after the Brewers got it to 5-4 was much worse. I wish Yo had stepped up and taken the ball instead. They lost the series in game 3 when the offense couldn't hit the inferior Cardinal pen and in game 5 when they couldn't catch the ball.

Brewers have lost radio announcer Cory Provus, #2 in Milwaukee to Bob Uecker. Provus has accepted the #1 position with the Minnesota Twins broadcast team.

while this thread is near the top....thanks to Zach Steinke for calling out Chris Carpenter for his phony attitude, it proved to be very helpful

The Rangers, Dodgers, and Angels have all announced that they will not bid on Prince Fielder.

Kotsay signs with the Padres, where presumably he will not be asked to play CF 20 times next season.
