kermit let this thread die.     Here's why:

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Wisconsin man accused of traveling to Turkey as part of a failed attempt to join the Islamic State in Syria was ordered held without bond Thursday for trying to aid a terrorist group.

kermit, 54, made his first court appearance a day after being arrested at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. During the brief hearing in federal court in Madison, kermit did not contest his detention.

A newly unsealed criminal complaint charges kermit with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

The complaint, which had been under seal since Oct. 28, alleges that kermit talked to people about his plan before leaving the United States in August for Istanbul. But it says he was unable to cross the border into Syria.

Well, if it is 2006, the Brewers have just acquired promising young infielder Aaron Hill.

If not, the Brewers have just acquired a washed up aging infielder named Aaron Hill.

The remake of the Brewers continues as power bat Khris Davis is sent to Oakland for a minor league C and P. Presumably this gives the Brewers a backup plan that allows them to trade Lucroy, but the guy is nowhere near major league ready as of yet and there's no guarantee he will even stay at C (strong arm but some other defensive issues so far in his career).

Davis seemed to have potential but is 28 and the Brewers felt he was limited to being a LF due to a weak arm. How he is not able to play 1B, I am unable to fathom. At any rate, should the Brewers' assessment of his defensive abilities be correct (and I am not presuming they are), he is better suited to the American League anyway.

The logical move here would be to move Braun back to LF and let Santana play RF, but naturally the Brewers will take some time to consider things before making a decision.

the logical move would be to disband the Brewers all together.
