Disinterested in your psychotic opinion.  But you know this.

Game 2 of the World Series produced another slide in television ratings compared to last fall, with a drop of 26 percent from its 2009 counterpart.  The Giants' 9-0 win over the Rangers drew an 8.5 rating for FOX.   That was the second-lowest number ever for a Game 2, trailing only the 8.1 rating drawn by the Rays-Phillies matchup in 2008.

Like I said, no one is watching this snorefest.

The Yankee fans aren't watching, which is OK with me.

It's a pity that more Yankee fans can't appreciate a well-oitched game.  I can understand it though, considering the slop  they've had to endure on the mound this year.  One more game and 50 plus years of misery end.  Go Giants!!!

It's sad that you think the NY market controls television ratings.    No one in NY is watching and no one outside of SF/TX is watching.

I think it's just that there is no rooting interest unless you're actually a Rangers or Giants fan.  I was one of the "I'm watching! It will be good baseball" people but found that I only watched 1 of the 3 games from start to finish.  There's other things on TV, and I really don't care who wins this series.  Sports are much more interesting when you have a team you're rooting for.

I don`t know about killing BB, but they surely killed the yunkees....

There is some truth to that.   In this day and age, you can watch baseball(your team), 150 times a year.  When the WS comes around, you can say "I've seen plenty of baseball this year and I don't care about these teams.   What else can I do?"

Pitt-NO beats World Series in ratings, first time ever a prime time football game has beat the World Series.
11/1/2010 11:08 AM
You know why?  No one cares about SF/TX.

Well, one of them is going to get rings and the trophy, regardless of TV ratings.  No one is going to remember that TV ratings were in the crapper...and **** FOX anyway.  TGWTD.

I'll remember.   Philly-TB was sucky ratings too.  And everyone was saying "Yay!!!  'bout time we got someone new!!!"

But they didn't watch.

This is why the NBA cheated the Bucks in '01.
