Nice attempt at translating everyone but you all get an epic fail. I didn't say there's no difference between 3-0 and 1-0. I said the Yankees never change their approach based on situation. They were swinging for the fences down 4-0 in Game 1. Don't try to tell me they stopped trying to hit HRs because the deficit was bigger. When you get your sorry ***** shutout, you can't complain about a few extra runs being on the board. That call did not affect the outcome of that game. The Yanks are just choke artists - accept it.
Epic fail? Haha.

And Im not sure anyone's complaining. Just being logical.

Don't try logic on jtpops, it just confuses him.

Good news!  The Yankees didn't lose last night!

Their best showing against Detroit in this series.

I love rooting against the Yankees more than I like rooting for my team to win...

...I guess my season is over too.

That's what losers do.  Congrats!

When will you be changing the title of this thread?

I will give credit where it's due. First time swept in a 7 game series since the 1976 WS...that's pretty damn impressive, especially with how many the Yanks have played in. That's right up there with the Sux going like 40 years without losing 90 games.

It's football season.   Watching baseball was a bit of a pain in the *** anyway.

On that note, baseball has a problem.   They need to end their regular season earlier and they need to start playoff games at a reasonable time.   I understand the logistical problems that both of those things present but it needs to happen.

The playoffs need to start in early September and finish at the end of September.   Football dominates the sports landscape in the fall.   Maybe a mid-March start, with early home games in warm weather/dome cities and half a dozen scheduled doubleheaders.

Playoff games need to start at 7 PM local time, or before, just like during the regular season.    If Johnny Westcoast wants to watch the Yankees/Orioles game, he'll need to get off work at 3 PM.  If Billy Eastcoast wants to watch Oak or SF at home, they need to plan to go to bed at 2 AM.

I'll take "Things that obviously will not happen" for $400, Alex.

Wasn't the latest west coast game at 9:30 eastern time (6:30 local time)?
10/19/2012 10:35 AM
I have no idea.   Perhaps it was.   But I'm pretty sure some EC games started after 8.   Since both teams are MW(assuming STL doesn't choke), I imagine all start times will be around 7 PM local.
