Ahhh, okay, thanks for laying that all out for us.

Seems my dream of building Estadio Azteca in Scotland must wait.

With season 5 attendance in my world (76) running from a high of about 17k, it looks like it will be a while before we hit the high end of stadium size. We have teams in our world with stadiums up in the 20k+ range who never draw anywhere near capacity.

Baffles me why people tie up their money that could be used to buy talent next off-season to buy empty seats instead.

It's true. I looked it up.

Any rationale behind 60,000 as the absolute max for capacity? With stadia like Old Trafford, Camp Nou, San Siro, the Bernabeu, and Wembley in the 75,000-100,000 range, why not just set the max at 100k? Especially if a club like Pocklington Crickets can run his stadium size to nearly max in just 4 seasons time.

57000 total and averaging just over 12,000 for the last 3 home matches. I think the fans are boycotting because the owner refuses to spend money on talent.

It's just limits we set for the game for now. If we need to expand it we will. It has nothing to do with any kind of real life limitations.

You have to remember that some people are just screwing around, not actually playing the game, just a waste of air molecules. Here's the thread about it ... Biggest Stadium? Axeme is right about one thing, << 57000 total and averaging just over 12,000 for the last 3 home matches >> tells you all you really need to know.

He appears to have been mindlessly building his stadium before the controls were implemented.

@ unclevic - Yeah I don't understand why people increase their stadium further than what the seasonal "cap" is. And I guess since the game is free people can screw around if they want (it could happen for paid WIS games too, if someone were so inclined to do that), but I agree - its a total waste.

@ norbert - appreciate the response. good to hear that expansion of max capacity could potentially happen (though most teams are a ways off from that becoming an issue). thanks for your help and work!

So I ask again, how is that possible? Were the parameters set after teams had already built huge stadiums for cheap?

It's because there was a bug that allowed you to continue to add standing and then convert when you shouldn't have been able to add standing. This has been fixed and the conversion price has been increased to fall back inline for anyone that got past the max due to this bug.

Thanks Norbert, bugs removed, got it
