The only real question is whether he gets in unanimously like Rivera (he probably won't). Using your logic of weighting defense equally w/ offense, Nolan Ryan, Mike Piazza, Chipper Jones, Ralph Kiner, Joe Morgan, Willie McCovey, Willie Stargell & Harmon Killebrew are just a few of the players who don't belong in the HOF.
