ACC/Big 12 Challenge Topic

Hey guys. I think we need a formula for how the scheduling will work for this thing. Something based on class distribution might be better than RPI as one team with a low RPI BUT losing 5 Srs. might get stuck playing a team with 5 returning Srs. Anyhow any suggestions please post. I think next season most of us have done a good part of scheduling so for this season and next Ill do an unofficial tracking so that we dont lose interest.

I know Im not in either of these conferences but maybe have 6 coaches from each conference give a list of 2 games they feel would be fair considering next years circumstances. IE, players leaving, possible drafts, etc. Then have 1 or 2 unbiased coaches select the games.

Using suggestions from both conferences would make it as even as I think it could get.

I got dogged but will definitely be ready for the "real thing". just couldn't get my team motivated for the preliminary challenge.

btw, for the record i'll play anyone as long as the home vs. away is changed each season.

i'm in and would like a structured format with one game per team counting toward the challenge. schedule me for whoever you would like. i'm game to play anyone.

What I was thinking is, we can base is on returning players. Previous years RPI, this would alleviate some of the concerns about waiting until late in the season to schedule. We can also have the same two teams play consecutive seasons so that the home team isnt an issue.
