Still not listening to what i said...

Yes I am, and I think you're dead wrong. I'm also telling you to back up your words. What's a better bet? That the Tiger pitching staff is better than the Royals next year? Cuz I'll take that bet. You tell me. But either way, put up or shut up. If you're so gung-ho on the Royals pitching staff then back it up with a measly 10 bucks.

I am supporting it with the stats I gave. I am not gonna bet anything.
11/27/2013 12:29 PM
Good choice, I wouldn't either.  Your position is inane and asinine.  The Tigers are obviously better.
11/27/2013 12:49 PM
Do not look at the pitchers. Look at he stats.
11/27/2013 3:05 PM
I am looking at the stats.  I think you might be ignoring park factors.  And offensive support.

If all you want to look at is the raw stats, here are a few for you:

Royals: .694 OPS, 648 runs
Tigers: .780 OPS, 796 runs

Kinda makes that marginal KC ERA advantage seem pretty insignificant, doesn't it?

We are improving.
We did not have Maxwell, Lough, Bonifacio at the beginning of the year. With them we are a playoff team.
A lineup like this:
LF Alex Gordon
2B Emilio Bonifacio
1B Eric Hosmer
DH Billy Butler
C Salvador Perez
3B Mike Moustakas
RF David Lough/Justin Maxwell
CF Lorenzo Cain
SS Alcedes Escobar
Would be amazing. You think this is a lineup of no-namers! I think not! First off, Moose and Hos are going to have very good years. Hos finished .302 with 17 homers last year, with a slow start!!! Think, the guy is 23 years old! Gordo will have a Gordo year. We will upgrade 2nd base during the offseason. Butler is going to return to 2012 form. Cain will do better in 2014. Maxwell hits for power, Lough hits for average. They both can field. If Cain had stayed healthy, he would have won a gold glove, he saved how many runs for us! Moose is a future gold-glover, Salvador Perez is gonna be a perennial all-star and Gold Glover, Hos won a gold glove, Esky is solid defensively, Gordo has won 3 straight gold gloves.

Good luck with Bonifacio as your number two hitter by the way. That guy is just plain HORRID.
