skonley just doesn't understand that basics.

Scoring requires 4 stops. A guy slugging .250 has advance someone at least one stop. .500 is at least two stops. .750 is three stops. And, you guessed it, 1.000 advances at least one player all 4 stops.

I hope that was simple enough.

um, a guy slugging 1.000 could single every time up with the bases empty and never advance anybody.
