Cause only a fraction of those 44 games were against the Brewers.

..Makes complete sense. When the Cubs and 'Birds play each other after your typical June swoon, all you normally have left is the rally cry,"Let's beat the Cards and win the series......the wooooorrrroooooolllldddooodddd series!!"....that's an actual quote taken from a cubs fan with an iq of seven or something, which, with it being that high, obviously validates it.
