Who is this Carlos Silva, and what did he do with the fat suckwad we got in return for Meltdown Milton? What a great outing today. When Lilly comes back, Lou will have a nice excess of starting pitching. Hopefully he'll find an 8th inning guy at the same time.

Marmol blows the save and a win for Dempster by giving up an infield hit to Pence and a double to the talentless Geoff Blum. This after giving up an RBI hit to another guy who can't hit, Jeff Krappinger in the 8th.

Hopefully they'll come back in the 9th.

Pretty much. They'll be mediocre at best if they can't beat a horsedong team like Houston at home. That team has 1 major league hitter in Carlos Lee and virtually no pitching worth a damn, yet we give away two games.

I bet the Mutts sweep us.

It's frustrating because they have a pretty solid rotation, and some decent hitters, but the bullpen has been horrible thus far and, as always, their fielding+ fundamental baseball skills are atrocious.
