If he didn't play for the Sux, I'd probably love the guy. In a manly way, of course.

Being interviewed about Ortiz, he supported the guy and said "I was like 1 for 55 and the fans were screaming for me to be benched or sent down. What happened after that? Yeah, a laser show."

But, since he plays for the Sux, F him.

I was in stitches when I heard that quote. He's by far my favorite player on the team.

Well, it would appear the Red Sox' have been eliminated from the post season before the Yankees.

So Sox fans can stew on that for a bit. Knowing that not only with Sale likely not win the AL MVP (LOL), but also likely not win the Cy Young Award, either.

Pedroia's tantrum on the called third strike that got Farrell tossed was Papi-esque. I guess he learned from the best, with respect to tantrums thrown at umpires.
