Chuck Briese is sensitive about his food.
Nah. I'm just not pompous about it. Unless you put ketchup on a hot dog.

I wish I could train between worlds. Montgomery could move a starter to Honolulu for a reliever.
I should see plane or ship to Honolulu, but train might be difficult.

where was briese's truck when it was broken into?
The slum known as the Macaroni Grill parking lot.
Heh, one of my best friends had a car stolen from a Macaroni Grill like 10 years ago while he was working there.
Who goes to chain restaurants?
Those of us who are not faux food snobs. The notion that, "It's a chain, therefore it cannot be good at all" is ridiculous.
I choose chain restaurants based solely on the attractiveness of the wait staff.

Good answer.

that and who's paying. I'll eat anywhere on someone else's dime.

I had Chipotle recently. Where's that rank on your morally superior index of chain restaurants? Five Guys?

And how famous of a chain is Texas Roadhouse? I've enjoyed that place.

Chipotle is disgusting...  I have eaten Five Guys when wasted but I don't eat a lot of meat so I don't go there too often.  Never heard of the last place but places ending in "Roadhouse" don't usually do it for me.
Definitely not hipster friendly.

I haven't had a good steak in a while.
Don't go to Morton's or Ruth's Chris, because they're chains, and couldn't possibly serve a good meal. Better to take Tommy Boy's advice.
Well, Morton's and Ruth's Chris aren't great anyway. What they are is consistent. I can think of half a dozen better steak places in or around Toronto.

The other 25% of the time is when I am drunk or hungover.
Gotta love a health nazi who admits to being drunk or hungover for 75% of his meals.

I like the idea of you touring farms and butcher shops making sure they're worthy of your business though.
your math sucks. dmang0 would be disappointed.

I like to think robusk has a fake health inspector badge and he walks around places with a clipboard.
That would be awesome.
That's a reality show pitch if I've ever seen one.

No, I have tried them all and made a decision based on my experience.

Also something that disgusts me.

I had an amazing pizza on my trip to Toronto this summer.  Generally speaking, my food was solid at every meal.

Didn't even see that one. I blame the phone's autocorrect. I guess it took the typo in that direction.
