Yes, as long as he's getting his per year average, and you stay within the distribution guidelines, he'll sign. As a side note, later in FA, guys asking for multi-year will sometimes take 1 year.

I didn't look at the specific ballparks but I'd expect him to be better. That said, 1700 innings is a pretty good sample size. At 8.4m and 35 y/o, I'd leave him alone.
