pretty much raked the last 4 seasons but was played at 1B. His defensive ratings are 2/21/65/48/40, so he's pretty much a DH.

Question 1 - does he break even here with that kind of bat? (I'm guessing its still a net loss)
Question 2 - He'd be sufficient at RF based on your theory (which I have used). How much of an improvement over 1B would we be looking at?

He's probably breaking even at the plate despite the 25 to 41 bad plays.
He'd make 15-25 negative plays/errors in RF. Sometimes you get lucky.
It's always a plus/minus game. If you have a "normal" RF with a .900 OPS, I'd move him to 1B, get some + plays there and take my beating in RF with this guy. I'd just never play him at 1B but his bat is in the line-up.

Your thoughts on the CFB overtime rules?

Not really a fan but I get it. I don't particularly like "manufactured" games like penalty shots in hockey/soccer or CFB OT. However, in those sports, fatigue is an issue. I don't want to see some CFB player collapsing from a fatigue-induced stroke in the 88th minute of a game. I don't really want to see it happen to a NFL player but, as we know, the NFL is $$$$ first and they make no excuses for it. I like to cling to CFB as having at least a little concern for the players. And, while it may be small, the OT rules do that.

Do you feel that BL is more of a Pernell Whitaker duck and weave guy or a Mike Tyson 'come right at you' guy?

He's definitely the Whitaker guy.

No, it's not a 0 or 20 thing. 0 is "Stubbed toe, out 83 days" with virtually no recovery(possibly none at 0 but I haven't used it). Essentially 0 equates to "discard player" from what I've seen. 20 get the most, and quickest, recovery.
