Do you think age effects how a player plays?  I mean I know that it means that his attributes will likely start declining, but do you think that a 23 year old and a 35 year old with the exact same ratings perform the same?

I don't think so but I think we "see" things we believe.   Personally, I'll call young guy up while debating "Maybe he needs another season".   Then, if he sucks, I'll say "I goddam knew it!!!!'  But just as many, if not more, perform just fine.   I don't remember them.

Is Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Bill Grey proof positive that a 5th pitch is actually bad if it's less than 25?

I look at Bill Grey, see no 5th pitch or BL experience, and wonder what you see.

Oh, sorry, you can't see projections. His projected overall rating is 64 and the only difference is that in his projections, he has a 5th pitch rated 24. All his other projected ratings are the same as his actual ratings, so would that confirm that a 5th pitch less than 25 is a negative in the programming of HBD?

That would be my assumption.  I've mentioned this before but I always thought it was 30 and below.    However, tec(I think) got a DITR that dropped a pitch from 39 to 34 or something.   Since DITR are supposed to make players better, it seems the threshold for a bad pitch is higher than I thought.

So now that it's then end of the season, I want to offer my ML 1b a contract extension and include a bonus. Will the bonus come out of this current season's payroll or next season's payroll?
