So, you would have preferred Evans at #5? Do you think they would have taken Watkins had Buffalo not moved up?

First, it's HOU, WASH, CLE in front of the Raiders today.    Only HOU is in the market for a QB.  Carr should be there if no one trades up. 

Yeah, I think I'd have preferred Evans.   He's also raw with upside too but, at his position, he physically matches up better.   LB learning on the job doesn't seem like a win.   Evans could just go up and get it over shorter DB.    From what I heard, OAK preferred Evans over Watkins.   Not sure that's a correct evaluation but I think they would have taken Evans.

Are you planning to watch the 2nd and 3rd Round of the NFL Draft tonight or Game 5 of the Rangers-Penguins series?

How did the NFL manage to get a 6.8 rating on ESPN for Round 1 of the Draft last night? That is better than MLB gets for the World Series, is it not?

I don't expect him to be a .300 hitter or anything, but are my expectations too high for Neil Goodwin? I figured he'd hit around .250-.260ish with an OBP of at least higher than .300. And I think its beyond SSS with over 1000 career ABs.

Is he underachieving? What would you expect him to hit?

250-270 with OBP around 320-330.   He is underachieving and 1000 AB is a lot to claim SSS.    He's striking out a lot for a 57 contact.    Can't really explain it.

Not on my team but I think I've seen 13m arb guys.  Not sure if it was year two.

So, how did you think the Raiders drafted this year? I have to admit, I thought they did well in the first three rounds. Not sure about anything after that.

Mack was a consensus pick.   I'm not sure about it but I guess Kiper & Co have seen more on him than I have.   If he's a bust, it's not like anyone expects him to be so you'd have to call it a good pick.   I really like Carr in the 2nd.  He can sit a year and learn.  I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about the G or NT/DT that was taken next except I know they're big maulers.   I saw McGill play once, must have be a Thur game because I can't think of a reason I'd be watching Utah.  I remember him being big for a CB.   And I know nothing about the 7th rounders but I always assume they're ST guys.   I like what they did. 

have you ever seen a guy in arb year 3, who will only sign a 1 year long term deal?  either way (arb or fa offer), i only get him for one year, however if I do the FA instead of arb, will I be able to resign him next season, as a 3rd arb signing is a guarantee to leave?
