I once called a pizza joint to order a small pizza.  They said they didn't have small pizzas, the only two sizes they had were medium and large.

If you only sell two different sizes of pizza, shouldn't they be small and large?  Doesn't medium imply that it is between at least two other sizes?

Nobody wants a small pizza when they're hungry.

To chime in on the high speed guy not having great range you see it all the time in major league baseball.  The Tigers had Quentin Berry last year.  He was obviously one of the fastest guys in the league.  In the outfield he got bad jumps and took bad routes on fly balls.  Journeyman Don Kelly, who is slightly faster than average actually covered more ground for Detroit.

An example from years past would be Luis Polonia or Lonnie Smith.  They were fast but needed a GPS to find their way around.

That is not a question.
