Any predictions about what the K Shanahan era will look like in Frisco?

Housecleaning first.

there's a lot to clean, isn't there?

Does this guy look like an 18 yr old Mariano Rivera to you?
Player Profile: Alejandro Nunez - Hardball Dynasty Baseball | WhatIfSports

(my $16M int'l scouts projected 100/100 splits for him... but I had <$1M left and he signed for >$15M)

I can't see projections but he's already a mediocre BL pitcher.

Kind of like CC Sabathia?

I can see CC. He's pretty big.

What do you make of this? Looking over draft prospects and I've found a Catcher who looks like a prospective major leaguer. Not a stud, just a solid pro, nothing fancy. Except his player card says he throws LEFT. Sure, his position could be mislabeled, but I have 20 mil scouting and his defensive projections - 16/31/61/65/55 - look like a real C. Nothing out of place except "Throws Left". Ever seen this before? Or is he probably just a DH?

I want to say "yes" but I honestly can't recall a single LH C, SS, 3B, 2B. I simply cannot.

So my starting RF Jim Shouse is ready to come off the DL but has been terrible this season, his replacement who hasn't played much better but still better Erubiel James. Should I leave Shouse on the DL or take him off and demote James back to AAA?
2/10/2017 12:34 PM
I don't think 50 and 70 AB are good indications of what they can do. That said, Shouse's injury isn't the type that will benefit his style so and addition injury recovery cycle is rather pointless. I'd go ahead and bring Jim back.

"You either play baseball, work in daddy's hardware store or sell drugs."

Is introductory coursework required to sell drugs, or can you jump right into it?

It's good to do some observation work, maybe dabble a little early then move up to the big time. Otherwise, someone might introduce you to their little friend.

Does it matter if a SP is 100% the day before he pitches, or is there no difference in say 82(100) the day before? Thanks.

There seems to be a recovery issue although many will say there isn't. 99% of the time, I have them at 100% the day before they pitch. In the playoffs, I do not. And I always need a spot starter in the playoffs at some point.
