I always thought end of the year promotions were free because salary was based on how many games were left in the year. Now I'm trying to promote minor league guys with their season over but 9 games left in the bigs and it keeps telling me I don't have the money. Does my logic only work with big league players?

As long as the big league team is playing, minor league salaries increase accordingly. Wait 9 games and you'll be fine.

Anything is possible. But it's not practical. I was thinking I'd be looking at three 42/78 kind of guys. You'd have to set those three at 40 PC.

wouldn't quite work as a 3-man rotation, but it would be awesome to have those 3 high durability guys, 1 decent SP and 1 who is more of a mopup/long reliever - and your #4 would have to make maybe 10-15 starts and your #5 maybe 5-10 plus some bullpen work for each of them.

5 guys going 180 innings would be 900 innings. In the order they were posted, those guys have gone 250, 300, and 260 innings in a season before - so if they each stayed healthy and matched their career highs in innings we're talking 810 innings.
