Charlie Manson believed that the Beatles were speaking directly to him through their "White Album", which inspired Charlie to direct his followers to commit the "Helter Skelter" murders in the summer of 1969.

I just heard the Beatles song "Birthday" (from the "White Album") on the radio.  Were they speaking directly to me?  If so, what do they want me to do?
