Will A-Rod ever play another game for the Yankees?

It seems that MLB and the Yankees would like to send him off into the sunset.  I think MLBPA would like him to go away but are contractually bond to support him.   If the rumors are true and MLB can suspend him for the rest of this season and 2014, I don't think he does.   He'd still have 3 seasons on his contract and I believe the Yanks would make a settlement.   If MLB can't suspend him, I'm not sure what options the Yanks have.  He can refuse assignment if he's not injured.   I don't think the Yanks want to eat his entire remaining contract.

The MLB non-waiver trading deadline is 4:00pm today.  Biogenesis suspensions may not be announced until tomorrow or Friday.

Does Bud Selig not know how to read a calendar?

I think it's Bud bungling again but I imagine the legal process has to take precedent.   Suspend players then the appeal process.   I think he's trying to avoid the 2nd part because, without a failed drug test, I'm not sure the CBA allows the 1st part.

Who is your favorite to win the Super Bowl this upcoming season?

Since Denver lost their center, I don't particularly like anyone in the AFC.   The C has to make the line calls thru Manning's 74 at-line audibles and, if they're not on the same page, Manning sits on his *** at the end of each play.   NE has no receivers, **** Big Ben and Baltimore is depleted.    AFC sucks.   So it's NFC.  The East sucks so I think it's between SF, SEA, GB, ATL and, surprisingly, NO.   It's a bit of a cop-out but I think it's SF.   GB figures out a way to lose, Pete Carroll just reminds me of a glad-handing con man, Ryan has to get over the hump and NO has to re-learn how to not suck.  49ers, bet the house.

I assume that's projections(and I'm guess they're not even close to right).   Neither SS is a SS but both can handle a 3B bat so it's no big deal.   I'd probably put Johnson first as he has the 100 M/U so he's more likely to develop more.   Since Wheat is HS I imagine his projections are off by more(although I'd need to know your budgets and their currents).   Berroa is an easy 3 as that 49 eye/50 glove downgrades him significantly at the top of the draft.

Yeah, there have been a few known blacks to play WifS.   I'm sure there are plenty but not everyone says "Hey, I'm black(or Jewish or Asian or Native American or English, etc, etc).

I forget who it was but someone has already admitted to doing it.   I think it would be pretty funny in a nerdy way to wear one to a minor league game.   Someone might ask "Hey, what team is that?"   At which time, the nerd would talk about that specific player, the city, his teammates and success, or lack thereof, without every mentioning it's fake baseball.

Where is the protesting? If Obama had four sons, would they look like the accused? Have you heard from Reverend Al or Jesse Jackson regarding this hate crime? If not, why?
