I think that's obvious.

I let the 50-60 innings guys go relatively easily.   Give me a 140 inning guy and I'll pay him the money.  Examples:
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Matt Christensen
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Kennie Simpson

My reasoning is that I use low STM SP more frequently than the average owner so I end up with 6-8 guys between 130-160 IP.   So, to me, the RP with 140 is just as valuable as the SP with 140.
Mike what do you have their TPC/MPC at?
4/13/2015 1:34 PM
25/35 and 25/40.  The thinking is that 30 pitches will get you two innings if you're pitching well.   If you're not, get the hell off the mound and try again tomorrow.

what are the pull ratings?
4/13/2015 2:08 PM
Two.  Virtually no one gets a one on my team.

I had a thought. If they did Type A and B free agents based off of the previous years stats rather then ratings do you think this would help prevent tanking in leagues?

People would have to try to get the best stats for their best guys or miss out on the extra picks which would go to other teams.

It would really depend on the rest of your team.   If I needed a future SS, I'd be tempted to take a chance on Player B becoming one(I don't think he will).    Otherwise, I think Player A will be an awesome leftfielder.

is it glove that worries you?
4/14/2015 12:42 PM
Oops, missed one.  No, tankers gonna tank.   Nothing will stop them, you can only hope to force them to tank less.   I don't think comp picks will do it.

At 22, everything but A/S worries me.   I like my SS to be 85 across the board.    I don't think he gets there in the other 3.

What is the oldest you would have a positional player on your team? I'm looking to sign a 34 year old FA. He is 5 home runs away from 500 and has very good stats across the board. Problem is he's a left fielder and I worry that after 2 years he will lose any usefulness. (Has a makeup of 99 though)

If their skillset is based on physical ratings(range/power/etc), they're going to fall of a cliff at 35-36.   I'm willing to bet your guy lost 3-4 points range/power between seasons.    So, for the most part, 34.    If splits/eye are the strengths, you can go a little older.

Have you ever had one game not sim during ST when all other games simmed? Not sure what the deal is...
4/14/2015 1:44 PM
We had a rash of minor league games not sim.   It was due to illegal line-ups.    I'm not sure SIMMY is replacing players in line-ups since the most recent update.
