If you know its your last season in a league, and you have a chance of making the playoffs and doing some damage in the post season, do you trade away prospects for pieces or is it in bad faith and you should try and set the team up as best as possible for the next guy?

That's a tough one. I don't know that I've ever started a season with "This is my last one here" in mind. I'd say it depends on the world. It's a clusterfuck, I don't think I'd have an issue going "all in" for one season. Making one more team a difficult sell isn't such a big deal if there are half a dozen others in the same shape. As for the worlds I've chosen to leave once the season has started, I've done my best to leave the team in good shape for the next guy. At one point, every team I left behind at least made the playoffs the following season(one won a WS) and maintained .500 for another 3 seasons. I stopped following that a few years ago.

He's not a lights out guy but I'd expect better. 197 innings isn't a big sample size but it's spread out over 3 seasons. His WHIP is pretty constant but he appears to the HRA machine. I don't know if I'd cut bait but I'd put him at SUB and damn sure wouldn't give him a 2nd arb if the trend continues.

He also projects to 86 range, 94 glove, 88 arm, so he can play CF.

I'm pretty prospect poor, so it hurts to give up a top prospect, but CF is weak across the league, so getting a top prospect who can play CF seems valuable. His 55 vsR concerns me a bit.

It's poor formatted but it appears your projections are 89 DUR/78 STM. If that's the case, your projections are crap. If you want, and I get the desire to not post too much, shoot me a sitemail with the links to the players. I'll work from there. Otherwise, if you believe in your projections, never trade away a 600 inning pitcher. They're super valuable.

I've never seen the previous team NOT win so I think that's #1. I believe the position coach is #2 and park effects is #3. I could be wrong but that's how they've seemed to play out in my experience(never got to #3).

So, using a hypothetical, if a team is located in Salem and one is in Colorado and both teams have the same rated ML pitching coach would it make any sense for the Colorado team to win?

No but "same rated" may not be the same. I doubt they are identical.

Also, don't they add the combined rating of the PC and the BP coach? At least that's what I thought.
