Much like 100 does not mean faster than the speed of light, 0 does not mean as quick as rock.   0 is just the slowest possible speed an HBD player can have.  Like the Molina Brothers.
Watch yourself dissing the Catching Molina's; Yadier has 6 steals through half a year....

I have a pretty decent DITR here drafted in the 12th round, now he is a pretty decent SUa, probably better as a B, but Im sorta weak in that position.  Cant argue too much with his performance either...  http://whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=2198920

Up till this season, never had a DITR with any chance of getting above AAA, but this season hit 5 total DITRs for one team, including these two, both who might make the majors if all works out:

and an extreme flyball pitcher,

I'd like to see the DITR guys get a rating bump, not a projection bump. With the projection bump, they still have to reach it to be worth anything and that rarely happens. I had a 25 yr old pitcher that was a DITR. Like he was ever going to get to the projections.

I got an awesome DITR this season check him out:  http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=3280097  I am sure somebody here got a better DITR at some point, but I'd say this has to be one of the best DITRs ever.  His projections are amazing!  here is his pitching line:
85 73 83 54 50 100 100 95  with a dur stam of 60 16.  I know at best 1 inning every other day.  But check out those 3 pitches!  :)  My adv scouting sucks, but if he gets even a bit close its still awesome.  (for a DITR)  oh and he is only 19 yrs old too!

Has anyone ever had more than 5 DITRs in the same season?  I have hit that number twice, but never went over it.

Do DITR players improve faster?  I have a guy that looks good but so far away from his projections and in year 3

Kind of, yes.

Distance between current and projections seems to be one of many factors in player improvement.  But as with all players and development, there is no guarantee that the player will actually reach, or even come close to, projections.

I have never had more than 1 DITR in a season - ever. None ever made it above AAA either.  I always asumed there must be a relationship between your organizational talent and number/quality of DITR's. Anyone else see differently?

My experience is similar to cyclones.  Actually upsets me that so many players seem to get diamonds who are useful.  All I get are players with mediocre Class A projections who become mediocre players with AA/AAA projections.

I didn't realize anybody ever got a good one.    That's pretty much all I ever see about DITR.

I never have gotten much than dumpster garbage when it comes to DITR

Make it a line-item in the player's transaction history then. Seems like a simple change.
This would make a good suggestion.
