Jtpsops - To struggle to win against inferior competition because the entire Wifs site is conspiring against you....bonus points here for losing to the bottom dwellers in the league while your division rival sweeps the good teams.

Usage:  " Unfrickin believable - I should be in the cage but I just Jtpsops'ed my series against a team 12 games under .500."   Or " There's no way I should have lost to that team because that team lost previously to that other team which was beat by the team that I'm much better than.  The site must be out to Jtpsops me"

I've got no problem sticking with that stance. Nothing on any of my teams has changed in the last couple weeks. One team has dropped into the 80s in fatigue for some players, so I'll give them that. Absolutely no reason for these random crashes right at the end unless they factor owner ratings into the equation.

It happens every single time. If I had garbage teams from the start, I'd be fine with it. But to have 5 playoff teams and be down to one 20 games later is completely ridiculous..

Jtp: I can only attest to the two leagues we're in together but, in those two, both of yor teams are still outperforming their respective Exp Win%s and have good records in one run games. This game can be extremely frustrating at times with how quickly a team's fortune can seem to change, but in a statistical simulation that's just the way it can go

That's fair - it just seems to be a constant theme in these tournaments for me. Like I said, if I was a weak owner and had crap teams from the start, I'd own that. But I'm almost always Top 35-40 until the last week or so, then major crashes.

I have a new one, an "ultra schwarze"?....Going 6-0 with 6 shutouts. I was 6-0 with 4 shutouts this pm cycle. That's about the only highlight of this tournament for me.

The highest I've had in a day I believe is 15. And I think I've done 12-0 a couple of times.

Ditto to 15 being my highest

Rollins: the opposite of a Jtpsops. When an inferior team makes an unexpected late season run to qualify for the postseason. Requires teams stumbling ahead of you. Named for the 07 Phillies catching the Mets.

"I still can't believe my $80 million team won 12 of its last 13 and Rollinsed its way to a division title."

I would think an 18-0 would outrank a 6-0 w/6 shutouts. Has anybody ever gone 18-0 in a single day? I don't think I've ever even had a 12-0 thru two cycles.
I had a 6-0 and two 5-1's this season. 16-2 day - by far my best ever. Don't think I've ever had 15 any other time.

Ya, people like to repost that every year. I'm cool with it.

Although this year my gripe has been more with consistency of performance than losing to teams I shouldn't.
