i must have done something wrong as well, my equations are blank as well

can I ask if anyone generally agrees with the OL rating formula giving speed a .12 weighting?  Personally I have been disregarding the speed attribute for offensive linemen and .12 seems somewhat significant.

can someone copy and paste all the formulas here? that would be lovely

I tend to trust bob's formulas, since they're based on a much larger sample size than I'll ever work with. When you're just looking at one team, it's hard to tell the trends from the outliers, and with the OL, it's even harder to see what's actually going on than with any other position. The problem with OL ratings is that the OL is treated as a group. One OL could have terrible SPD, another low STR, another crappy BLK, but as long as the other OLs in the group has high SPD/STR/BLK to offset the weak links, the OL as a group will do a good job.
Unfortunately, when you start subbing players into the mix, you can't control it enough to send in a high BLK guy when your high BLK starter gets tired, so I either stick with bob's ratings, or make sure I recruit high STA and set subs at no more than "Getting Tired" (this works better with quick-strike offenses, since a long grind-it-out drive will leave me with a mixed bag of OL when I get to the red zone).

Yatzr...the normal equations are apparently no longer in my program as well as the equations that I've input...how do I get them back?
The equations are stored in the config.ini file.  If they suddenly aren't showing up anymore, then there's something wrong with that file or the program isn't able to read it.  Check to make sure that config.ini file is there and that it isn't empy.  If it's there and not empty, then it's either corrupt or the program isn't able to read it due to permissions.  If it used to work and suddenly stopped, then it probably became corrupt.

You can go download the default config.ini again to get the default equations and stuff back.  If your config.ini did become corrupt and you're able to make it become corrupt consistently, please let me know how and I should be able to fix the problem.

threads had been working for weeks for me, but at the start of stagg recruiting its not getting everyone, not even with 1 thread. I went back to 1.8.3 and that is working correctly.

Okay, I think I fixed a bug where some recruits would show as out of vision when they were really in vision.  There's still a bug where some recruits will sometimes end up with blank attributes.  I've been trying to racking my brain all day trying to figure this one out, but I've got nothing so far.

Thanks yatzr. You da man.

yatzr....as always, we really appreciate your efforts.

Yatzr, I hate to be a bother, but I think there is still an issue with players showing up out of vision. I set up my watch list early  with 1.9.1 and all my players at the time were in my vision. Now, when I look at 1.9.1, most of the players are out of vision now, but are still in my vision when I search for them in the game.

Do you remember what options you had checked when you updated recruits this last time?  I'll test it out some more.  I really apologize for this issue.  I'm determined to get it fixed though.
