It has been clearly established that the whole Hill testimony during the Thomas hearings was an attempt by the left to hold up a black Conservative.

Ms Thomas was just giving Miss Hill a chance to clear her concious for putting Justice Thomas through the pain he suffered.

The whole story was bad.

People would make a statement, then it would be pointed out that there statement couldnt be true because the times and dates are wrong, so they would change their minds and make a new story. Hill never told anyone about Thomas until he was a nominee. She stayed in contact with him and invited him to speak a multiple events, including one where he addressed the issue of sexual harrassment.

If you had to analyze the data in a non-partisan way Hill comes up looking like a liar.

Why cant the left admit this?

Hill did not "arrange to have the call reported to the FBI". She reported the call to campus police, as she's done with every other crank call she's gotten over the last two decades. The campus police then decided it was worth passing along to the FBI.

Yet another lie from swamp. His batting average is intact.

Why was it a crank call? She knew who made the call.

Do you really think the Campus police would report this to the FBI without imput from Hill?

You are a campus cop. You investigate a call with no threats from a person that knows the person who was called. Would you ask the person who was called how they want to handle it? The idea that this call independently warrented an FBI investigation is crazy!

1 Ms Thomas called Anita Hill to ask for an apology.
2 Anita Hill escalated this into a major incident.
3 The Media is using this as an excuse to bash a strong black Conservative again.

Don't forget that he also took a potshot at her in his autobiography.  That was dredging something up that had been laid to rest years ago.  I believe it was they who started the escalating.  If there's any bashing being done, it is over what a poor decision Mrs. Thomas made.
