Gold Glover Jeter, Best SS Evah!!!, robbed of MVP Topic

Hell, this fine physical specimen was the best player, by far, in Wagner's era:

I'd love to have him chasing down flyballs I hit.

I could OPS 150+ if everyone in the field wore one of these, pitchers threw 150 pitches in every start and worked the farm in the off-season:

I don't see where the equipment is relevant given that the same defenders were playing with the same crap gloves againt everyone else, too.  Of course, I guess you do have to have the cognitive skills of a 4th grader to understand + stats, maybe even a 5th grader.  We are on the very upper limit of your skills there.

A more skilled player has a bigger advantage when the tools used to stop him are poor.   I'm sure that's tough for you to understand.

That's the stupidest argument I've ever heard.  The guy who does a better job of NOT hitting it at guys gains the least when the guys do a poorer job of fielding.  The weak contact guys gain the most from poor fielding, not the guys who are already getting plenty of clean hits.

I know you're not dumb enough to believe that.

Clearly you're dumb enough not to.

Would a guy who regularly hits lasers benefit more from poor D more than a guy who hits more lazy flies?    Think it out.
