Thinking about possibly joining an open league. Please choose one of multiple choice answers below. What 3rd baseman should I sign. Note: I have only 2 hr hitters on my team,playing at the cell -Gary Carter and Eddie Murray.

I like defense at 3B, Randa out of those two, look at these doods also, you can use some AAA against weaker teams

not B) 2000 hitters stink at this game. possibly D+) I know a better guy for under FOUR mil, but unfortunately E) boogerlips wont let me tell you who it is.

I would go with 1976 Bando or 1974 Kingman...if you are looking for HR's... search for hr/100ab# and hr/100ab  and looks for the guys that normalize well.

Also, I think if you want HR's look for guys who don't walk much.

D), for sure. The aforementioned Koskie might be a good fit at US Cellular. His 2000 season isn't bad for the money either. If you're willing to forego power and save some money, the 1995 Wade Boggs can be had for $3.9mm... his fielding is A, but his range is D-. He is slow so you have to watch out for his GIDP. You get a .412 OBP and .320 AVG#, along with a 1b/100# of 26, which is a bit higher than his RL number. I've used him several times and consider him an excellent value.

As of right now I'm going to sue  the 95 Wade Boggs. I'm scared of his D, but his O numbers are really good. Maybe someday Boogerlips will share his doods with us. I appreciate all of your guys comments.
