Manny, if you can put up with his act...

In a  vacuum I would take Slaughter.

if salary means anything I'd take Manny and save the money.

Yeah, I like Manny - best value, probably will perform as well as the other 2 at a lower cost.

It would be good to know what park you're using. In the absence of that information, i would go along with the crowd (barely) and take Manny due to the power strokes. I like the '49 Slaughter. In a park favoring singles, he might be your best bet (.336 AVG#, best 1b/100# of the group), especially considering his advantage in fielding.

Manny will give you 20 or so (-) plays

Thanks everyone......... I think I can make any $$$ amount work and as far as the ballpark I haven't yet decided. I have quite a few power hitters so I'm leaning in that direction for a park as well. My first thought was Vlad since he gives me some speed with the power. Hmmm........

I have used Enos quite often and he has always performed for me.  Great clutch hitter and will give you 100 RBI's.  He is an average fielder.

Manny will hit regardless.  If you have some solid OF defense, his wont kill you.
