Speaking of splits, I have noticed that some switch hitters hit better against lefty/righty pitchers.  For example Ozzie Smith for me is hitting better vs. lefties while Otis Nixon hits better vs. righties. Is this true in the sim?  For the most part I try to stack my lineup with lefties or switch hitter that do well vs. right handed pitchers when a right hander is on the mound.  For the most part my team is still average too

There's a flat 5% improvement to hitting opposite hand vs. hitting same hand. Shouldn't matter too much. I never worry about it.
