Okay, maybe not a dilemma but I've got 2 teams that will be facing each other in the final four of a TOC.  Both teams are straight $120M (no AAA or DH).  I'm inclined to tank one of em to lessen fatigue on the one I choose to move on to the final.

Team A is currently 9-1 and has a starting ro of '94 Maddux, '19 Adams, '04 Big Unit & '02 Bernhard... the pen is '88 Elton C, '16 Schupp and 3-headed mini-monsters Milacki/McDowell/Blue.  Milacki is the only one that will be less than 100%.  Park is Comiskey II.  Hitters are a clone-platoon squad led by Ted Williams, Rickey, Dickey, Boggs & Gwynn.

Team B is currently 9-4 with '09 Mathewson, '08 Joss, '35 Blanton & '02 Siever... pen is average and somewhat fatigued with '40 Bonham, '94 Howe, '12 Weilman, '62 Umbricht, '15 Bailey & '12 Burk.  Playing in Shibe Park.  Hitters center around '86 King Kelly, '28 Gehrig, '01 Delahanty & '96 Caminiti.

I think Team A is my choice for the finals but I wanted to find out what other owners have done in similar circumstances.

Team A...and tank hard!

Team B...It's the only way we can have a rematch of our World Series.  Of course, I have to win 5 more games just to get to the finals myself...

Just as a matter of game integrity, I say you should play the series out and go ahead with the team that wins.  Having said said, I tend to be hard-nosed, or simple-minded, about such things.

Team A would probably win in a drawn out battle, why put them through it. Toss B.

Game 1 - Team A wins 11-0... trying not to fatigue my hitters as they are all-platoon. Team B is going with a rotation of Bill Bailey & Sandy Burk set to none-none-1. Team B's hitters are all low-ab bench guys except for one. Ridin' the Tank!

Game 2 - Team A wins 13-0... Bill Bailey to start game 3 for Team B at 9%.

Game 3 - Team A wins 22-4

Game 4 - Team A completes the sweep 22-0... all pitchers are now at 100%. Other bracket series is at 3-1.
