Flacco = greatest road playoff QB ever Topic

With the victory over the Chiefs, Flacco has now moved into a tie for first all time with Jake Delhomme, Roger Staubach, and Len Dawson with 4 playoff road victories.  Should the Ravens beat the Steelers this weekend, Flacco will stand alone as the winningest road playoff QB in NFL history.  Absolutely mind boggling given he is in just his third year and perhaps more astonishing that no QB in NFL history has more then 4 road playoff victories.  Now granted the all time elite QB's often host playoff games, but still an absolutely amazing statistic when you think about it.

I don't think he's even played a home playoff game, has he?

what's his record in Super Bowls?

Wow, now there's a headline that goes way too far.   Winningest, as you say in the actual post sure, but up until the last game, Flacco himself has been laughably bad in the playoffs.

No one hands off the ball in the playoffs better than Flacco!

Come again?

Sanchez now is 4-1 alltime on the road.  he has tied Flacco.  But unlike Joe....  He can move to 5 next week

And Aaron Rodgers now has three road wins this season.

Flacco now the all time leader with 5 victories on the road.  His 7 total victories places him tied for 18th all time with Ken Stabler and just 1 behind Marino, Young, E. Manning, and Plunkett.

Glad the Ravens won. Ravens - Patriots is a premier matchup. Patriots would probably much rather have played Colts-Bengals winner, since they already clubbed both of them this season.

As for the original 4 years ago comment, I don't know of a compelling argument for anyone else. A big part of that has to do with the oddity of Baltimore consistently making the playoffs, but only winning the division twice, and during those two seasons being the 2 seed and the 4 seed.

But then again how much credit are you going to give him for those first 3 road victories, in which he played poorly but they won thanks to defense/running game?
