Have you ever seen any thing like this for the selection of the player of the game?

"Jack Glasscock has horrible day in the field."

He was on the losing team and committed 3 errors in an 8-5 loss, only one of which was in the decisive inning,

If the definition of "Player of the Game" is "the Player who had the biggest impact (whether good or bad) then it makes "some" sense.  As we know if a player goes 5 for 5 and another player goes 1 for 5 with an infield game winning single in the bottom of the 10th .......................................
