schwarze, I feel your pain.  Just last week I was on a nice run, including a sweep wherein all teams won.  Then, I won two games in three 'days' - two series of one win, and a complete shutout.  Crap happens - I just try to focus on the positive.  Doesn't work.

Hmmm..... I think he's missing a team!

There's nothing like logging on and seeing a sea of W''s in the Team Center.  The high lasts for hours.  And there's no pain quite like seeing all those L's.  I usually manage 15 or 20 teams at a time (yeah, I know, too many) and I don't think I've ever had a clean sweep, either winning or losing.

Almost as bad is when you end a rough season with a terrible loss and you've got to see that score every time you check in through the playoffs, and for a couple weeks afterwards. I've been staring at this line for the past week...

Schwarze: Me too, man. Just went 0-8 in the pm round, including getting bounced from the playoffs in one league.

Often the sim will balance a really bad (or good) round in the near future with a really good (or bad) round. I can't wait.

On a similar note, I've had three playoff teams in a row wind up with unfavorable matchups in the first round of playoffs and get unceremoniously bounced, despite records of 108 wins, 106 wins and 98 wins.

There are just some Humpty Dumpty days when all of the team matchups and SP matchups (and even the players you might need to be resting) all line up against your teams. If you don't get any luck at the same time, then they all fall down together.

And it doesn't make any difference how many of your teams are solid or weak...

I wonder what the worst round is that any owner with multiple teams has ever suffered. Do you think someone with 20 teams has suffered an 0-20 round? Given the numbers of owners on this site, I'd bet that it has happened.

I've done 20 teams at a time quite a bit, but my worst single SIM ever is 5-15.  My best is 18-2.

So one day I had my fourth straight playoff team, and three other teams in 1st place. And then rounds of 0-8, 5-4, 1-7, 4-4, 2-6, and 1-7. And guess what? I have one first-place team left, hanging on by a game. When all of your teams fall into a trough at the same time, there just doesn't seem to be any way out, and it is no fun counting the L's as they pile up.

Its happened to me Schwarze, thats the day you want to throw the computer in the driveway and run over it a few times with the car.

And I thought I was the only nut who got upset with this damn thing.....

And another 1-7 round. Before long my owner rating will be minus something............. At least they won't revoke my "Hall of Fame" status. Amen...
