I don't play in too many leagues with AAA, and a lot of leagues let you choose your own or use their real names, but some of the random names these guys get are great.  I recall seeing a thread a while back about the funny/weird names given to guys in HD, and there's got to be some good ones out there right now in SimLeagues.  In a league forming now, I got a hitter named Thaddeus Smack.  Kind of sounds like a pro wrestler or a bad porn name.

What are some of your favorite SIM-generated AAA names?

I like the ones where they mix and match the ethnic/religious names.  So you get stuff like Guido Cohen, Mohammed McDonald, Esteban Wong, etc.  Christian Greenberg is a good one I saw recently in an OL.

I have a flamethrowing AAA prospect right now named Carey Speed.  His K/9 doesn't quite live up to his 10 velocity rating, but he's actually pretty decent.  I think his teammate, Mason Kicker, took a wrong turn on his way to SIM football.

I'm playing against a team tonight that has a catching prospect named Albert Fiasco -- he appears on my opponent scouting report simply as A. Fiasco.  Since he's hitting only .204, I can't say that he's misnamed, although my entire team in that league is a fiasco.

My new AAA catcher...Chico Niederbaumer.

Just got a new 2B named Angel McButchley. (One of two Angels on my AAA) Perhaps the first Sim player of Latin-Scottish-Lesbian descent.

Thanks. After seeing those responses, I showed my girlfriend my original post. No laugh, no smile, not even a sigh. Her response: "How much does this game cost?" I mean, even if it wasn't funny, lie to me and tell me it was. Part (most) of a relationship is lying to the other person to make them feel better. I seriously have grown to dislike her in a real and intense way. And we moved in together three months ago. I'm screwed.

I tried to post this earlier but she walked in the room. Had to "Remove" at maximum possible speed.
