how do you take Sal Bando ahead of Rod Carew? I know each league has its own dynamics but still.

Reggie Smith and Amos Otis, 2 of my favorite underrated progressive guys.

Isn't that why we all join Draft Leagues?  I lick my chops when a guy doesn't know what he is doing.  Hopefully he is in my division!

I'd hardly say he didn't know what he was doing. He already had Joe Morgan and needed a 3B.

Still, if you aren't going to pick someone like Carew when you should you should trade down, or draft Carew and trade him.  Tend to agree with jfranco on this.

I know trading can be really hard. And if the players are close, I can understand going with your need. But I would put Carew above the line of guys you have to pick regardless. Others may disagree.

Interestingly enough, we just had two owners execute a Carew for Bando trade...marcstuart was the recipient of Carew in that deal.
