Does catcher rating affect pitcher's ERA? Topic

In real life a good catcher has an effect on the pitcher's ERA, but does the SIM? I searched but couldn't find any previous posts about this. Thanks in advance.

No effect in the SIM.  Catcher ratings only impact their own defensive abilities.
